Even though our students are free to purchase equipment from any vendor they choose, we recommend Eguchi USA on our website for a number of reasons.
Eguchi Budo-gu has been in the United States for - well, longer than we can remember and longer than any other direct supplier that we know of - and has always provided top quality merchandise along with outstanding, knowledgeable, personalized service. However, more so, Eguchi USA has supported and helped kendo grow in the United States more than any other supplier, having unselfishly donated time and resources to kendo and iaido events across the country. The Eguchi staff even pitches in with a helping hand at such events, helping with setup and cleanup. They have supported the U.S. kendo federation as well as local kendo organizations equally and without regard to size or personal associations.
