| April 2001, Ota sensei visited Mushinkan Dojo |
| In addition to the regular Mushinkan practices, a special weekend practice was held that was open to anyone wishing to meet and practice with Ota sensei. It was a long weekend with Ota sensei working everyone to a content exhaustion. |
| Of course, practice continued outside of the dojo where Ota sensei taught us some Japanese customs... |
| ...and we taught him some American customs. |
| After two weeks in Colorado, Ota sensei traveled to Dallas, Texas for a week of training with the Dallas/Ft. Worth Kendo & Iaido Kyokai. Ota sensei's trip concluded with him as the guest of honor at the 25th Anniversary Kendo Tournament of the Dallas group. (Pictured from left to right: Jeff Marsten sensei, Chizuko Abe, Ota sensei.) |
